1. In pairs, write up your classroom notes as a script
for a Podcast to help all students understand a particular topic from any of
the studies you are undertaking: History, Hospitality, Plumbing or any TAFE
courses, English Literature, Poetry, Science and Science experiments, Music,
Art, or some other topic that you are interested in.

2. You will need to evaluate this script and reduce it
down to 20 - 30 mins.
3. Think about your take on what a podcast should sound
like, how it is introduced and "out-duced" [music, or sounds].

1.
You are going to create a Podcast about one of your interests!
Read the following
article and with a
partner list all the steps you need to take. Your Podcast is to only be 10
minutes in length.

2. You will need to script your podcast for it to sound
professional and interesting to listeners. You can add sounds but you need
to be careful of copyright so use
Freesound.org for your music or mystery sounds.

3. Use
Audacity to create
your audio file. Get your partner to listen and suggest edits.

4. To make your audio file into a podcast, you need to
upload it to a website - either WordPress or Blogger will let you do this.
As a pair, listen to two other podcasts. How did they
stack up?
