1. What memories do you have of play equipment? What did you enjoy the most? 2. In groups of 4 - 5 students, work out what play equipment is standard in Childcare Centres. Do this by visiting 3 - 4 centres between your members of the group or looking on the Internet at your closest Centre.. 3. If you can, ask the Child Care Workers what other equipment they would like to see at their centre. Make a priority list. 4. Look at the prices and work out the cost of buying new play equipment for an Early Childhood or Child Care Centre from the following websites:
5. New Centre. Work out the cost of equipping a new Childcare Centre... Does it include the play equipment you liked best as a child? Why? Why not? Old Centre that needs more
equipment. Does it include the play equipment you liked best as a child? Why? Why not? 6.
